Terms
Terms of use.
These terms cover your use of divtodiv.com and, for clients and their teams, portal.divtodiv.com. Work we do for a client is governed by the agreement for that engagement; where it says something different, the engagement agreement wins.
The website
divtodiv.com describes what we do. It is provided as is, for information. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we make no promise that it is error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and nothing on it is professional advice or an offer that binds us until an engagement agreement is signed.
Writing to us
Anything you send through the contact form is treated as described in our privacy page. Do not send credentials, secrets or confidential documents through the form; we will arrange a secure channel once we are in touch.
The client portal
- Access is by invitation. You are responsible for keeping your login private and for what is done with it; tell us at once if you think it has been compromised.
- The people you add to your account act on your behalf. You can ask us to remove them at any time.
- Files and notes you upload stay yours. You grant us the permission needed to store and use them for your engagement, and nothing more.
- Invoices in the portal are issued under the engagement agreement, and payment terms are the ones stated there and on the invoice.
- We may suspend an account that is used to attack the portal, to access other clients' data, or in breach of the engagement agreement.
Our content
The design, text, code and artwork of divtodiv.com and the portal belong to divtodiv unless marked otherwise. You may link to the site and quote short passages with attribution. You may not copy the site, its design or its components to present them as your own.
Third parties
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, and payments in the portal are processed by Stripe. Their services run under their own terms. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for what they contain.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, divtodiv is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the website or the portal. For work under an engagement agreement, liability is as set out in that agreement. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes about the website go to the courts of Alberta; disputes about an engagement follow the engagement agreement.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions go to [email protected].
